Private group insurance contracts in property and person insurances enhance goals’ execution in protection of different categories of insured against risks, but also they cover needs of citizen for protection within the social insurance and financial services. Beside its clear importance for execution of certain state politics in several areas, it is an opportunistic question if its regulation is necessary, particularly because of the fact there are legal systems that do not have any specific provisions about group insurance contracts, those that regulate certain situations only, to the legal systems regulating group insurance contract in detail. This paper deals with legal framework of the group insurance contract in the European comparative law.
